An altruistic cooperative facilitating liaison between artists, musicians, museums and cultural institutions.

ongoing project: Festa della Cultura San Giovanni Battista 2012-2017

Since the inauguration in 2012, Festa della Cultura San Giovanni Battista has continued to deliver a series of high-quality visual and performing arts events celebrating the feast day of the city’s Patron Saint on 24th June.

Dedicated to the people of Florence, it continues to evolve each year as an integral part of the Florentine calendar for its citizens and visitors alike. It is designed as a cultural forum to engage Italian and Anglo-Florentine artists and audiences into a closer spiritual and creative dialogue.

The festival has presented exhibitions of contemporary sacred art, inter-disciplinary conferences, various concerts of baroque and contemporary Florentine music, exclusive private visits with specialist guides, fresco workshops in renaissance techniques, and English and Italian masses in historic churches.

Each year the Festival creates original events in unique locations and, as a non-profit initiative, supports other arts ventures, churches and charities in a spirit of communal cultural appreciation.
